Dina Meyer as Dizzy in Starship TroopersDina Meyer stars as Barbara Gordon (aka. Oracle, nee. Batgirl).

She has appeared in a couple of sci-fi movies that I know of.  These movies are Starship Troopers as Dizzy and Johnny Mnemonic as Jane.

She also appeared in the hit TV series Beverly Hills, 90210.

Already a favorite among science-fiction fans, Dina Meyer comes to The WB as Barbara Gordon and her alter-ego, Oracle, in the new action-adventure series Birds of Prey.Dina Meyer in

Born and raised in Queens, N.Y., Meyer studied dance throughout her childhood and loved performing on stage in dance recitals. She knew she wanted to act from an early age and was even accepted into New York's High School of Performing Arts, but her parents convinced her to follow a more traditional academic path. She majored in Business Administration and minored in French at Long Island University and attended the Sorbonne in Paris. After graduation, however, she decided to pursue her acting again and studied under Ron Stetson.

Meyer made her film debut opposite Keanu Reeves in the action-thriller Johnny Mnemonic. She went on to star with Dennis Quaid in the feature film Dragonheart. Additional film credits include a starring role in Starship Troopers and Bats. This November, Meyer will be seen in the latest installment of the legendary franchise, Star Trek: Nemesis as the Romulan Commander Donatra.

Television fans will recognize Meyer from her role on the Aaron Spelling phenomenon Beverly Hills, 90210, where she played the adulterous professor Lucinda Nicholson, who had a torrid affair with Jason Priestley's character, the role that brought her to Los Angeles. She also had a three-episode arc on Friends as Joey's love interest. Other television credits include Ally McBeal, Michael Hayes and, most recently, the critically acclaimed Golden Globe Award-winning series Six Feet Under.

Meyer currently resides in Santa Monica. A fitness enthusiast, she enjoys rollerblading, snowboarding and doing Pilates.
